As the proprietor of Good Times Recordings, I can basically use my gear when I want. Which is sort of why I put together this studio in the first place! So I use my gear as a notepad for song ideas, to expound on them as demos for bands I'm in, or to simply create them and share with friends. I constantly strive to achieve cleaner, fuller, and louder recordings. As my gear has evolved, so have my techniques. Here's a sample of recordings I have made over the past years. Of course, the older songs are recorded on gear that Good Times may not own anymore. Frankly, we'd rather track you on the Echo or the M-Audio than on a tape 4-track any day. But later recordings are more representative of our current studio's output.
